PGA Tour 96

Description

PGA Tour 96 for PlayStation is a golf simulation that brings PGA Tour-style rounds to the living room. The game emphasizes accessible controls and straightforward course play, delivering a traditional offline golfing experience on PS1 hardware.

Gameplay focuses on core golf actions: you choose a club, set your aim, and execute a swing with a timing-based input. Shot outcomes are determined by your precision with the swing meter, club selection, and how you account for course conditions such as wind and terrain. The presentation centers on thoughtful shotmaking and steady pacing rather than fast action.

The game supports a single-player experience, letting you compete rounds against computer-controlled opponents and practice sessions to refine your swing and course management.

Designed for collectors and players who enjoy classic PS1 sports titles, PGA Tour 96 appeals to fans of traditional golf simulations and those seeking a compact, offline gaming experience on a nostalgic platform.
