Raiden Project

Description

Raiden Project on PlayStation is a compilation that brings two classic arcade vertical scrolling shooters to the PS1. It collects Raiden and Raiden II, delivering fast paced aerial combat on a single disc. Expect relentless enemy swarms, challenging boss battles, and faithful arcade action preserved for home play.

Players pilot a small fighter through successive scrolling stages, using primary weapons that can be upgraded by pickups and power ups that enhance firepower and defensive options. They dodge incoming projectiles, weave through aggressive enemy patterns, and deploy bombs to clear crowded screens. The pacing emphasizes quick reflexes and precise movement as you confront a sequence of screen filling foes and bosses.

Game modes include Single-Player.

On the PlayStation release the classic arcade look is retained with sprite based enemies and vibrant stage design that mirrors the era’s distinctive visual style.

Ideal for collectors seeking two foundational Raiden titles on PS1, fans of arcade shooters, and players who enjoy quick, pick up and play action with high replay value.
