Come join us at GameNile™, a growing retro video game retailer focused on preserving, restoring, and selling games, consoles, and gaming hardware.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented person to help process and maintain our growing video game inventory. This is a hands-on position that is especially well suited for someone who genuinely enjoys video games, particularly retro games, and takes pride in doing careful, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

• Cleaning and preparing incoming video games and accessories
• Sorting and organizing inventory
• Testing games and gaming hardware
• Performing product photography
• Packing and preparing customer orders
• Maintaining organized inventory and work areas
• Assisting with general warehouse operations
• Assisting with online store and inventory maintenance as needed

As the position develops, there may also be opportunities to learn additional skills such as console and electronics repair, refurbishment, hardware modification, and other aspects of our technical operations.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in and knowledge of video games, especially retro games
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable performing repetitive hands-on work while maintaining quality
• Able to carefully clean cartridges, discs, cases, consoles, and related gaming equipment
• Willingness to learn new processes and skills
• Previous console or electronics repair experience is a plus, but is not required

Experience working with retro games, collectibles, electronics, e-commerce, photography, or inventory systems is also a plus.

Growth Opportunities

We are looking for someone who can grow with GameNile. A part-time position may develop into a full-time role as the company expands, and employees who are interested may have opportunities to learn more advanced skills including console repair and electronics work.

If you love retro games, enjoy working with your hands, and like the idea of helping build something as it grows, we'd love to hear from you.
